Tampere Trade Fairs Group covers a versatile set of autumn events

Tampere Trade Fairs Group's autumn season offers an impressive array of events, ranging from industrial sectors to free time, safety and board work. The trade fair season kicks off with the fantastic week for work life in mid-September, and the three-day Alihankinta Subcontracting Trade Fair takes place in late September.

 

Tampere Trade Fairs Group charges the autumn with a wide variety of events, from trade fairs to whole-family functions.

Current professionalism and novel events

 

The fantastic week of professional trade fairs attracts visitors to Tampere Trade Fair and Sports Centre from 13 to 15 September. The leading international event for the security sector – EuroSafety – protects, safeguards and builds networks. Its scope includes security and risk management, latest protective equipment, and smart solutions. The event features a superb set of keynote speakers such as the Madventures duo Riku Rantala and Tuomas Milonoff as well as Jarppi Leppälä of the Dudesons. The Workplace Welfare Trade Fair offers encounters within the realm of human work life, examining interaction from the perspectives of transformation, meaningfulness and culture. The programme of this trade fair is captivating, with top speakers such as the championship-winning coach Jukka Jalonen. The Food and Drink Industry Trade Fair (14 to 15 September) presents the latest equipment in food and drink production, current affairs in packaging development, and raw material suppliers and manufacturing processes in the food and drink industry. Logistics Trade Fair, organised at the same time, completes the set with flexible solutions to internal logistics, presenting forklifts, automated systems and mobile technologies.

 

The classic trade fair of Pirkanmaa, Alihankinta and AlihankintaHEAT, takes place from 27 to 29 September. The largest industrial trade fair in Finland, and the second largest industrial subcontracting trade fair in Europe, promises to deliver encounters and industrial appeal. The partner company for Alihankinta 2022 is Wärtsilä Finland Oy, the leading international supplier of innovative technologies and life cycle solutions in the marine and energy markets. Visitors will swarm the halls in late November and early December, as the Engineering Works Trade Fair, Nordic Welding Expo, and 3D & New Materials occupy the Tampere Trade Fair and Sports Centre from 29 November to 1 December. Themes to be discussed at Engineering Works include advanced machinery, modern workshops, and smart investments. Nordic Welding Expo, the largest welding industry trade fair in the Nordic countries, offers a cross-section of new products and innovations in the welding sector. The novel professional event 3D & New Materials creates an overview of 3D printing and new materials. The last day of November in Tampere marks the introduction of a completely new, first in Finland, event for companies and board members, Hallituspaikka. Organised on 30 November, Hallituspaikka features encounters between companies in search of independent professionals to join their boards, and board professionals in Finland.

 

Tampere Trade Fairs Group has an active role in organising the cooperative event Isot koneet Keskustorilla (Big Machines at Central Square), which takes place on Tampere Day, 1 October 2022.

 

Pets, crafts and everyday preparedness

 

The whole family is entertained in October by the Kokonaisturvallisuus Preparedness Trade Fair, which is organised from 7 to 8 October and covers preparing to exceptional circumstances in every day life, showcases cybersecurity and national defence. On the same weekend, the halls will be filled with furry friends, reptiles, hedgehogs, rabbits, birds, ferrets, and many more pets. Lemmikki Tampere Pet Fair, 8 to 9 October, enchants with action-packed shows and presents the versatile world of pets as a tangible experience. The largest annual consumer event by Tampere Trade Fairs Group, Craft and Design Fair, brings joy to mid-November from 18 to 20 November. The fair features future-proof materials and a programme that promotes new inspirations for unique professionals and hobbyists of crafts and design. Spouse of the President of the Republic Jenni Haukio will recite the welcoming speech and choose the winner of the Taito Finlandia award at the Finnish Craft and Design 2022.
